About This Place

Obet & Del's Coffee is a standout gem nestled on Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles, offering a refined yet welcoming coffee experience that merges neighborhood comfort with a touch of cultural flair. Specializing in expertly crafted coffee beverages with a unique Filipino twist, this coffee shop is more than just a caffeine stop—it’s a vibrant community hub where quality and creativity meet.

Their menu is a delightful journey through bold and intriguing flavors. The Filipino Iced Coffee is an undeniable highlight, delivering an invigorating balance of richness and smoothness that invites repeated sips. For those with a sweet tooth, the Mocha stands out, celebrated by visitors for its perfect harmony of robust espresso and velvety chocolate, topped with delightful chocolate nibbles that add a playful crunch. If tea is your preference, offerings like the delicate Madame Jasmine Green Tea, refreshing Thai Tea, and the sophisticated White Miso Kouign Amman add layers of flavor complexity seldom found in typical café selections.

Their all-day Matcha offerings—made using silky, stone-milled Hukuju matcha from Yame, Fukuoka—are exquisite. The Matcha Latte impresses with chestnut and pistachio notes softened by creamy milk, while the Matcha Palmer dazzles as a vibrant, housemade lemonade-based refreshment, perfect for those looking for a refined yet soothing pick-me-up throughout the day.

Obet & Del's also caters to those seeking satisfying light bites. The Strawberry Chia Pudding, bursting with fresh berries and house-made granola, offers a fresh, chilled texture and bright, tart flavors—a nourishing delight. The Breakfast Sando, featuring a perfectly cooked egg with savory pork sausage on a buttery English muffin, provides a hearty start to any day, though note some customers find the seasoning on the sandwich on the saltier side, recommending customization where possible.

The atmosphere at Obet & Del’s strikes a perfect balance between cozy neighborhood café and airy contemporary space. High ceilings and streams of natural light create an inviting ambiance that encourages you to linger, whether catching up with friends or soaking up a quiet moment with your favorite brew. It’s also wonderfully dog-friendly, welcoming furry companions and their owners who often stop by for a quick pick-me-up.

Outstanding coffee!! SOLID. We got a mocha. Smooth yet bold. The chocolate ‘nibbles’ they put on top was a nice treat. I love that they are dog friendly also. (The dog owners got coffee to go but it was nice to see cute furry friends stopping in :) Friendly service. Great experience. We’ll be back!

This was a chill and roomy neighborhood cafe with great espresso and good amount of seating. The high ceilings and bright natural light make it a really nice space. The coffee was fantastic. I’d stop by again for sure if I find myself in Thai Town again.

Got egg sando and iced mocha less sweet. Love how egg yolk was not overcooked but overall it was too salty for me. I just ate only eggs and left egg paste and bread because it’s really salty that I couldn’t finish them all. My iced mocha was still too sweet for my taste so I might try no sugar or syrup next time. Very friendly service and nice ambiance.

Only one coffee shop in this area and they did a great job! I visited LA and staying at the hotel in this area and I found this coffee shop while I was looking for a good coffee in the morning. I’m so glad I stopped by and got my coffee here, everything here was great especially coffee they have made it perfect. I ended up coming here every morning until I got back to NY and I’m gonna miss them.

Great coffee shop in Hollywood with a fun, bright atmosphere and incredibly friendly service. They have good drip and all other typical offerings, but the highlight here it their specialty lattes that use house-made syrups and milk alternatives. Their menu is mindful to provide great dairy-free options that taste great (although, you can get regular milk if that’s your jam). I got the Filipino oat iced coffee which tasted great - I’ll be back to try more!

Obet and Del's (est 2020) is a colorful mom-and-pop coffee shop that blends tradition and innovation. It's located in Hollywood's Thai Town. O&D is Filipino culture-inspired coffee crafted by owners Heather Knox and Josh Oliveros. The shop’s 90's retro interior design and layout were well conceived and very spacious, respectively. They have breadth of coffee drinks and modest pastry selection. Free wifi available (2 drink minimum prerequisite). Plenty of street parking. We came here to grab a nice Cold Brew; perfect on a sunny warm LA. It was okay. Service was on point. Staff were cordial. Overall, I had a good order experience. I’d definitely come back for other drink and pastry.
